The specialized library with archive “Studii Romani” is created in 2005 by the Minority Studies Society “Studii Romani” and the Ethnographic Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, with the support of the Open Society Institute Sofia, Roma Program.
The specialized library with archive owns books, periodical publications (article and book series, journals, newspapers), audio and video materials, archive documents, field materials, as well as museum fund. It is structural part of the Library and Ethnographic archive of the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with Ethnographic Museum at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
The specialized library with archive “Studii Romani” is public institution; the access to it is free and without restrictions during specified opening hours.
